This month is a busy one at FV. We have several things coming up this month I wanted to make you aware of:
- First, we have a canned food drive all next week. Look for a note in your child's green folder tonight giving specific details. It's always a fun competition among grade levels.
- Second, Your child's school pictures are coming home tonight. If you need retakes, check the Forest View calendar for the date on that. It's not for a while.
- Third, Mark your calendars now, we will be having a Peterson Class Thanksgiving Production in our room on Tuesday November 23rd. You are invited, but more importantly, so are GRANDPARENTS. In the past I've used this day as a grandparent-only event, but this year I'm opening it up to parents as well as grandparents. We will have a lot of fun. It will be in the morning and we will be finished in time for you to have lunch with your child. You are welcome to eat lunch in the lunch room that day, I just ask that you order your lunch ahead of time in the office by calling 780-7440. (Corndog and Cheetos that day)
- Lastly, I will begin sending a handwriting practice page home in your child's yellow Sight-Word envelope. This handwriting page will be in addition to any sight-words, numbers or sentences he/she already gets. I will have a letter taped to the front of the envelope stating the directions for this.
